- Life-Long Change - By joining a fraternity, you will enter into a life-long brotherhood of over 63,000 brothers worldwide. Being a life member is something that stays with you long after you graduate. As an alumni, you will always have a place to come back to at WIU.
Brotherhood - Being a brother means that you will always have a group at WIU and at other chapters that you can socialize with, always have an intramural team, do various recreational activities, and have life-long friendship.
Resume Builder - Joining a fraternity, especially taking a leadership position look excellent on a resume.
Scholastics - We offer several scholastic programs within the fraternity to help each other succeed in scholastics. Tutoring will always be available within the fraternity.
Finding A Job - There are thousands of Theta Xi alumni worldwide, and over 500 alumni of the Kappa Theta Chapter who would be willing to hire fellow brothers upon graduation.

- If I join, will I be hazed? No, we are a 100% non-hazing fraternity.
I want to join, but how can I get my parents to approve of it? Our chapter advisor, members, and alumni would be more than willing to call your parents and answer any questions they may have.
If I join, will I have any time for my school work? Scholastics are the most important thing to our fraternity. We offer study buddies, library hour tracking, and tutoring.
I want to join, but will I have any time to spend with my girlfriend? Girlfriends are always welcome to hang out with the brothers at unofficial events, and there are usually other girlfriends there too.
Isn't joining a fraternity just buying friends? You are not buying friends, you are buying the college and lifetime experience. There are no other organizations on campus that will help you scholastically, be teammates in intramurals, give you leadership and organizational skills, and help you find a job after graduation.
I don't see myself as a fraternity type guy, so why would I want to join? We are the most diverse fraternity on campus. We have every type of member you can think of. You will find that you will easily fit in with us.
